Naomi Washizu

Naomi Washizu ( Japanese 今 泉 奈 緒 美 , Imaizumi Naomi ; * May 23, 1983 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture as Naomi Imaizumi ) is a Japanese triathlete and multiple Ironman winner (2005, 2007 and 2008).

Career

In 2004 Naomi Imaizumi was third at the Ironman Korea in the long or Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and was thus able to qualify for a starting place in October at Ironman Hawaii , where she finished 20th. Ranked. She achieved her best result at the Ironman World Championship in 2008 when she was 16th.

Since her wedding, she started as Naomi Washizu . In April 2017 she won the Strongman All Japan Triathlon in Miyako-jima for the third time after 2005 and 2008 .
