Narandulamyn Mönchbayar ( Mongolian Нарандуламын Мөнхбаяр , born October 28, 1990 ) is a Mongolian middle and long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Mönchbayar Narandulam gained his first international experience at the 2013 East Asian Games in Tianjin , where he won the bronze medal in the 1,500-meter run and finished fifth over 5,000 meters. The following year he was at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou each sixth over 1500 and 3000 meters. At the end of September he took part for the first time in the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where he came 16th in the 5000 meter run and was eliminated over 1500 meters in the preliminary run. In 2016 he won the Ulaanbaatar half marathon in 1:07:40 h. In the marathon, he qualified for the 2017 World Championships in London , where he finished 34th in 2:18:42 h . Two weeks later he took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where he finished 27th in the half marathon. In 2018, he took part in the 10,000 meter run at the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he finished sixth in 31:28.

In 2018 Mönchbayar became Mongolian champion over 5000 and 10,000 meters.
