society

From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Tata Steel- funded Tata Football Academy .

This was followed by the move to the I-League , the top division of India alongside the Indian Super League , to the "Pailan Arrows" (now "Indian Arrows"), a team specially designed for the Indian national team, for the 2012/2013 season should collect match practice in league operations with a view to the soccer World Cup. There he played 22 games, 21 of which were on the starting line-up. In total, he came to 1,887 minutes of playing time. He made his first appearance on October 28, 2012 against Salgaocar FC . He was substituted on for Pritam Kotal at the beginning of the second half and received a yellow card in the 72nd minute. Three weeks later, he scored his first goal in professional football on November 18, 2012 in the 84th minute of the game against Prayag United Sports Club from Calcutta .

When the Pailan Arrows ceased operations after the end of the 2012/13 season, Das moved to the multiple champions Dempo SC together with his three colleagues Alywn George , Holicharan Narzary and Pronay Halder . There he developed into one of the key players of the team, which is why his injury-related loss on loan to FC Goa by owner Shrinivas Dempo (also co-owner of FC Goa) was named as one of the points for the poor 2014/15 season for Dempo SC.

After the team's relegation from Goa, Narayan Das officially asked for clearance, although the team had previously announced that the team would also stay together in the I-League 2nd Division , the sub-division of the first-class I-League . That received approval and moved to Kingfisher East Bengal from Calcutta .

He then signed a contract with FC Pune City for the period 2016/17, from where he briefly returned to Kingfisher East Bengal as a loan player in 2017. A season at FC Goa followed in which he was injured once for an extended period of time before joining Delhi Dynamos FC in the Indian Super League in 2018 .
