Narit Taweekul ( Thai : นริศ ทวี กุล , born October 30, 1983 in Nakhon Phanom ) is a Thai football goalkeeper who plays in the Thai Premier League for Chiangmai FC .
Career
Narit's football career began in the youth department of FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly . Until 2003 he was in the squad of the club's youth team before moving to the club's senior team in 2004. He immediately became a regular goalkeeper and won the championship with the team at the end of the 2004/05 season. The championship entitled the club to participate in the AFC Champions League 2006 , but the club was excluded from the competition. In 2006 he moved to BEC-Tero Sasana for one season , for which he completed 15 games before returning to his old club. After two more seasons, he moved to Pattaya United at the beginning of 2009 where he is also a regular goalkeeper.
In the national team, Narit has hardly been used so far, although he has been part of the squad several times. Most of the time, however, he's just number two or three behind Kosin Hathairattanakool or Kittisak Rawangpa .
