history

Karasuyama was an old castle town on whose castle Karasuyama last a branch of the Ōkubo resided as a smaller Fudai daimyō .

Nasukarasuyama created on 1 October 2005 through the merger of municipalities Karasuyama ( 烏山町 , -machi ) and Minaminasu ( 南那須町 , -machi ) of the district Nasu .
