Natália Pereira (born April 4, 1989 in Ponta Grossa ) is a Brazilian volleyball player . She won the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Career

Pereira started her career in 2004 at ACF / Campos . In 2005 she won the U-18 World Cup with the Brazilian youth. The following season she played for CD Macaé and then moved to the Osasco Voleibol Clube. With Osasco, she was runner-up three times from 2007 to 2009 and also won the Brazilian Cup in 2008. In 2009, the outside attacker made her debut in the senior national team , with which she won the Grand Prix and the South American Championship in the same year . 2010 Osasco won the national league. Internationally, Pereira reached the finals of the Grand Prix and the World Cup with Brazil . The following year Osasco was second again in Brazil. The national team missed the final victory at the Grand Prix for the second time . Then the outside attacker moved to her current club Rio de Janeiro VC. In 2012 Pereira took part in the Olympic Games in London and won the gold medal with Brazil in the final against the USA . She was suspended for 60 days in 2013 for a doping offense .
