Nat Indrapana

Nat Indrapana (born March 6, 1938 in Bangkok ; † August 6, 2018 there ) was a Thai sports official.

General

Nat Indrapana attended Teachers College in Sydney , where she graduated as a PE teacher in 1963. At California State University he made in 1969 the Bachelor and Master of Science in physical exercise. At the University of Alberta in Edmonton , he received his doctorate in philosophy in physical education (Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Education) in 1973 .

From 1975 to 1977 Nat Indrapana worked as dean at Srinakharinwirot University . From 1977 to 1987 he was the vice president of the university. In later years Indrapana worked again and again in various functions at several universities in the country in the respective faculties for physical education and physical exercise.

Indrapana has received three honorary doctorates: 2007 from Srinakharinwirot University, 2011 from Chulalongkorn University and 2014 from Burapha University .

Sports career and administration

From 1984 Nat Indrapana was Deputy Secretary General of the NOK in Thailand. From 2006 he served as president of the Asian trap and skeet shooting association.

IOC membership

Nat Indrapana was elected an IOC member in 1990. He was a member of the Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission.
