Natalja Borissowna Gorelowa ( Russian: Наталья Борисовна Горелова , née Saizewa; born April 18, 1973 in Moscow ) is a former Russian middle-distance runner .

At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , she finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a personal best of 1: 57.90 min , after having been eliminated in the preliminary round at the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi over the same distance a few months earlier .

From 2000, Gorelowa concentrated increasingly on the 1500-meter run . At the Olympic Games in Sydney she did not get beyond the preliminary round on this route. In 2001 she won the bronze medal at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon in 4: 11.74 minutes. Later in the season she celebrated the greatest success of her career at the World Championships in Edmonton by winning another bronze medal in 4: 02.40 minutes.

After her fourth place over 1500 m at the IAAF World Indoor Championships 2003 in Birmingham , she did not get any further outstanding results on an international level.

Natalja Gorelowa was 1.73 m tall and weighed 56 kg.
