The Žumberak Nature Park and the Samobor Mountains is an area protected since May 27, 1999, about 30 km southwest of Zagreb in northwestern Croatia .
Due to its proximity to Zagreb, it also serves as a local recreation area.
The area of the nature park is 333 square kilometers.
The highest peak is Sveta Gera at 1178 m.
