The Učka Nature Park (Croatian Park Prirode Učka ) is located in the Učka mountain range in Croatia , near the city of Rijeka and covers an area of 160 km². The nature park was declared a protected area in 1999. The immediate proximity of the sea favors the specific climate and the lush vegetation up to the peaks. Numerous protected and rare animal and plant species can therefore be found in the protected area.

The two highest peaks of this mountain range are the Vojak (1401 m) and the Veli Planik (1272 m). From Vojak there is a view of Istria , the islands of Cres and Krk , the Risnjak National Park and, if the visibility is particularly clear, as far as Venice and the Italian Alps . Another natural attraction is the Vela Draga gorge .

There are numerous hiking trails and cycle paths for mountain bikers in the nature park.
