Wendequellgebiet nature reserve

The nature reserve Wendequellgebiet is a 15.48 hectare nature reserve (NSG) southeast of the village of Schönau in the municipality of Wenden in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen . The NSG consists of two areas. The NSG will u. a. separated by the 714 road.

Area description

The NSG consists of two headwaters of the Wende brook . The northern part is in the swamp forest area and the southern part is wet grassland with wet meadows and tall herbaceous vegetation.
