Benze and Binsenbach nature reserve
The Benze and Binsenbach nature reserve is a 35.35 hectare nature reserve (NSG) west and northwest of the village of Rothemühle in the municipality of Wenden in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen . The NSG consists of two areas. It is divided by the 342 highway.
Area description
The NSG is the local natural streams Benze (Bigge) and Binsenbach (Benze) with floodplain. In the floodplain there are wet grassland complexes with pipe grass meadows .
