Steinkuhle and Hillmickebach nature reserve
The Steinkuhle and Hillmickebach nature reserve is a 26.85 ha nature reserve north of the village of Hillmicke in the municipality of Wenden in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen . To the west of the NSG, the federal motorway 45 is only a few meters away.
Area description
The NSG is a large contiguous deciduous forest complex and a small-scale wet grassland complex. In the deciduous forest there is a flora characterized by the previous use of coppice .
