Production and publication

The film was produced by Discovery Channel in 1998, directed by Tracy Atkinson and Joan Barron, and written by Lester Shane. Tom McArdle was responsible for the editing. Malcolm McDowell took over the narration. The Discovery Channel also broadcast the two-part film for the first time in the USA, shortly afterwards it was released on VHS.

The film was released in Germany under the title Nazis: The Occult Conspiracy in 2005 on DVD at MIB - Medienvertrieb. The film was also released on DVD in the Netherlands, Italy and Greece.
