The Neckartäle is a landscape protection area in the area of ​​the municipality of Dauchingen that was designated by ordinance on February 2, 1956 by the Villingen District Office .

location

The nature reserve Neckartäle is located on the upper reaches of the Neckar about 1 km east of the locality of Dauchingen.

Landscape character

The deeply cut valley section is largely forested on the steep slopes. Above the Neckarmühle there is an open grassy slope. There are some meadows along the Neckar.

Contiguous protected areas

The wooded slopes are designated as the Schonwald Dauchinger Neckar valley , which is directly connected to the Schonwald Deißlinger Neckar valley . The area is part of the FFH area Baar, Eschach and the Southeast Black Forest and the Baar bird sanctuary .
