Neil Buchanan

Neil Buchanan (born October 11, 1961 in Aintree , Merseyside , England ) is a British television presenter , painter and former rock musician . He became known in Germany primarily because of his regular appearances in the art attack show , which he moderated himself in the English version.

Life

Neil Buchanan was born on October 11, 1961 in Aintree near Liverpool . He enrolled at Liverpool Art College , from which he was turned away . Buchanan later attended the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys, now the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts .

From 1976 until the early 80s, Buchanan was the guitarist of the heavy metal band Marseille , which emerged from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal .

His television career began by hosting a number of British television programs and shows. His greatest success, however, is the art attack show, which he hosted from 1990 to 2007. He also always appeared in the German version of Art Attack, in which he created giant works of art from the materials of his respective environment between the handicraft tips.

Private

Neil Buchanan has been married since 1989 and has two children, Molly and Freddie.
