Nelson Peltz

Nelson Peltz (born July 24, 1942 in Brooklyn ) is an American hedge fund manager.

Together with Peter W. May and Edward P. Garden, he founded Trian Fund Management in 2005 . In the following years this invested in HJ Heinz Company , Cadbury Schweppes , Kraft Foods , Ingersoll Rand , Wendy’s , DuPont , Mondelēz , PepsiCo , State Street Corporation and Family Dollar .

In October 2015, Peltz / Trian bought shares in General Electric for $ 2.5 billion .

Private life

Peltz has eight children with his third wife, Claudia Heffner. There are two more children from previous marriages. Peltz lives in Bedford , New York State .

Two of his children are the actors Nicola Peltz and Will Peltz .

According to Forbes (as of March 2018), Peltz's personal wealth is listed at 1.67 billion US dollars .
