Nicola Anne Peltz (born January 9, 1995 in Westchester County ) is an American actress .

Life

Nicola Peltz was born in Westchester County , New York , to model Claudia Heffner and Nelson Peltz , a businessman and billionaire who owned the Snapple company . She has four older brothers, two younger brothers and a sister. Her brother Will Peltz is also an actor. Her father has been described by the New York Times as the "compassionate leader" of the New York Jewish community.

Peltz became known to a larger audience for her role as Katara in The Legend of Aang ; for this she was nominated for the Golden Raspberry as worst supporting actress. She also played Renee Kyte in the 2012 drama Eye of the Hurricane . She previously had minor roles in Christmas Blend (2006) and Harold (2008). She can also be seen in Miley Cyrus ' music video for 7 Things . In 2013 she took on the lead role of Bradley Martin in the A&E drama series Bates Motel .

For her role in the fourth Transformers film Transformers: Ära des Untergang (2014), directed by Michael Bay , she received a new nomination for the Golden Raspberry for worst supporting actress.

On July 12, 2020, it was announced that Peltz was engaged to Brooklyn Beckham, son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham .
