The Nemjung is a 7140  m high mountain in the Himalayas in Nepal .

The Nemjung is located in the Peri Himal in the Manang District of the Gandaki Administrative Zone , 4.5 km from the Tibetan border. The Manaslu is 25 km to the south-southeast.

Located on the northwest flank of the Pangrigletscher , on the northeast flank of the Thochegletscher , on the southern flank of Kechakyugletscher . The north-west and south sides of the Nemjung are drained to the Marsyangdi . The northeast side, however, is in the catchment area of the Budhigandaki .

The first ascent of Nemjung took place in 1983. A Japanese expedition reached the summit from the south via the east ridge. Later it turned out that the climbers did not climb the northern Himlung Himal , but the Nemjung.
