Nenad Filipović (athlete)
Nenad Filipović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ненад Филиповић ; born October 5, 1978 in Leskovac ) is a Serbian athlete .
Filipović, who starts for AK Niš and is trained there by Aleksandar Raković , made his international debut at the 18th Walker World Cup in 1997 in Poděbrady over 20 km walking . In the end he reached place 122. At the 20th World Cup in Turin in 2002 he reached place 52. For the first time over 50 km he started at the World Cup 2004 in Naumburg . There he reached the 30th place. At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka , he started over 50 km and was 23rd at the end. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , he achieved 30th place in the 50 km walking discipline in a personal best of 4:02:16 h .
His brother is the equally successful walker Predrag Filipović .
