The Neritsa ( Russian Нерица ) is a left tributary of the Pechora in the Komi Republic in northwestern Russia .
The Neritsa rises in the Verkhnevymskaya grjada mountain range on the eastern flank of the Timan ridge . It flows in a northerly direction and after 203 km, east of Ust-Zilma , reaches the Pechora, which flows west. The catchment area of the Neriza covers 3140 km². At the Ilinskaya gauge , 52 km above the estuary, the mean discharge (MQ) is 14.5 m³ / s. The Neriza freezes in late October / early November. At the beginning of May it will be free of ice again.
