Neuhaus (on the B 51)

Neuhaus is a hamlet on the B 51 Trier - Bitburg in the Trier-Saarburg district and is located north of Trier on the first Eifel ridge (Hungerberg, 405 m). It consists of about 20 houses, of which the east of the B 51 belong to Aach , the west to Trierweiler ; both are local parishes of the Trier-Land association .

Economy and Transport

Adjacent to the southwest is the Trierweiler-Sirzenich industrial park with a connection to the A 64 Trier- Luxembourg . The place is connected to the network of Rhein-Mosel Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH and Moselbahn GmbH and is served by several bus lines.

Neuhaus houses a farm, a haulage company, an inn, a timber wholesaler and a car workshop, which is housed in the buildings of the former Raiffeisenbank . A grain silo is operated above the hamlet. Baked goods sold in the morning of the sale car a bakery.

There are six wind turbines on the Hungerberg near Neuhaus .
