Trierweiler ( Luxembourgish Tréierwëller ) is a municipality in the district of Trier-Saarburg in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Trier-Land community .

The development of the districts of Trierweiler took place in different centuries. Sirzenich's name is first found in 975 as Sarceni , Udelfangen Odolvinga was mentioned in a document in 1030. Trierweiler goes back to Villarium in monte (1202) and Fusenich to Vosene (1259). The Roman and Franconian finds discovered in Sirzenich show that the region around Trierweiler was a popular settlement area for centuries . Udelfangen is also known nationwide for its Udelfang sandstone , which was used in the building of the Reichstag in Berlin and shipped abroad and overseas. It was and is a popular natural stone of stone sculptors .
Today's community was formed on March 20, 1971 from the communities Sirzenich and Trierweiler. On March 16, 1974, the two previously independent communities of Fusenich and Udelfangen were incorporated.

Attractions
- The Catholic parish church of St. Dionysius was built in 1893 and 1894 according to plans by Reinhold Wirtz (1842–1898, architect , municipal district and diocesan master builder of the Diocese of Trier ) .

The Trierweiler-Sirzenich industrial park is located directly on Bundesstraße 51 . As of 2018, companies from a wide variety of industries have settled there: industrial companies. Craft businesses, car dealerships, logistics, bus travel and other companies.
