Franzenheim also includes the Michelshof, Staudenhof, Weisgerber Hof, Zur Pellinger Mühle, Bernardshof and Welschenborn residential areas .
history
In 1098 the place was first mentioned as Brumtesma .
Franzenheim was an independent rulership until the end of the 18th century , which belonged to the cathedral chapter of Trier and to which the neighboring village of Kernscheid also belonged.
