Paschel is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Saarburg-Kell association.

Paschel is located south of Trier about nine kilometers northeast of Saarburg and also nine kilometers west of the association headquarters of Kell am See . The B 268 (Trier-Saarbrücken) runs about two kilometers west of the town. The districts of Steinbachweier and Benrather Hof also belong to Paschel . The main road runs right through Steinbachweier, in the vicinity of which there are several ponds and ponds that are used for fishing.
history
The Benrather Hof in Paschel is a former estate of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Matthias in Trier. The farm is built in a hollow and is surrounded by ponds on its east and south sides. It probably existed before 1306, but was destroyed during disputes at the time of Archbishop Megingaud of Trier . Several changes of ownership in the years 1532, 1658 and 1802 have been handed down for the place Paschel.
