Neuheim is a district of the community of Weilerswist in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

The place is west of Weilerswist and east of Friesheim, which belongs to Erftstadt, north of state road 33 . Together with the core town of Weilerswist , it forms the statistical locality of Weilerswist.

It is located in the Erft valley at an altitude of 117 to 120  m above sea level. NN .

history

Neuheim is the youngest part of Weilerswist. It was built in 1863 as the four-sided Weilerhof and built over the now defunct Weilerburg . Around 1900 it was renamed Neuheim and in 1908 a "villa" built in the park was added next to the courtyard.

In the years 1953/54 the newly laid out farmer's settlement to the west of the Federal Motorway 1 was added.

The Good Weilerhof is under monument protection . (see: List of architectural monuments in Weilerswist and Neuheim )
