The start of the route is in the north of St. Stephen , where it crosses Route 1 immediately after the start of the route . It runs in a northerly direction. In Thomaston Corner joins Route 4 from St. Croix one coming forth. West of Fredericton , it crosses Route 2 and ends at Route 102 .
