Route 17 through Whites Brook

The New Brunswick Route 17 is a highway in the Canadian province of New Brunswick . It connects the American city of Van Buren and the local US Highway 1 with the Trans-Canada Highway and further with the north of the province. The route is part of the National Highway System , where the route serves as a feeder route.

The route begins on the border between Canada and the United States at the crossing of the Saint John River . It runs through Saint-Léonard and meets Route 2 , the Trans-Canada Highway , on the eastern border of the state . From there the route runs in a north-easterly direction via Saint-Quentin to Campbellton . There the route ends shortly before the city limits on Route 11 , into which Route 17 joins.
