The New Brunswick Route 4 is a 28 km long highway in the Canadian province of New Brunswick . The route continues on the American side as Maine State Route 6 , which leads across the state to the Canadian province of Québec . The route heads northeast and connects Route 3 with the American border.
The first section runs parallel to the Eastern Maine Railway to McAdam . There the route leaves the course of the railway line and runs in a north-easterly direction to Route 3 and ends there.
