The New Zealand Football Championship 2015/16 is the twelfth season of New Zealand's top division in men's football . It began on November 8, 2015 and ends on March 10, 2016 with the finale.

First, all teams play against each other in a league consisting of eight teams, so that each team played 14 games. The first four teams after the preliminary round qualify for the championship play-offs, the semi-finals of which are also played in the home and return legs. However, only one game will be played in the final.
