The Niżnia Kopa is a mountain in the Miedziane Grań massif in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship with an altitude of 1711 m npm
Location and surroundings
Below the summit is the Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich valley in the south and the Dolina Roztoki valley . The Niżnia Kopa lies to the west of the Miedziane massif . Its southern slope is only about 43 meters high, while its northern slope is significantly higher. The Wyżnia Kopa is located nearby .
etymology
The name Niżnia Kopa can be translated as Lower Hill .
First ascent
The climb up Niżnia Kopa is quite easy. It can therefore be assumed that shepherds, miners and poachers have been climbing it since the 17th century at the latest.

There is no marked hiking trail on Niżnia Kopa .
The Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich is located at the foot of the massif . On the northern slope of the mountain, a black-marked hiking trail leads from the refuge into the Dolina Roztoki valley .
