Nic Wise (born September 8, 1987 in Houston , Texas , real name Domenic Giovanni Wise ) is an American basketball player . Despite his comparatively small height of 1.78 m, he is a professional basketball player and plays as a point guard .

Career

He played his first professional position in the 2010/2011 season at Telekom Baskets Bonn . In Bonn he should compensate for the departure of Jared Jordan . For the 2011/2012 season, Wise received no new contract and was replaced by returning Jordan.

Previously, Wise had during his studies in his home country for the Wildcats of the University of Arizona in the NCAA play, where he scored in his last season 14 points, 3.3 assists, a three ratio of 36% and a free throw rate of 87%.

After his year at Telekom Baskets Bonn, Wise switched to the French LNB Pro A and signed a one-year contract with STB Le Havre . There he injured his knee in March 2012 and was out for the rest of the season. He then asked for an early termination of his contract in order to cure the injury in the USA. The association complied with this request. In 22 games for Le Havre, Wise got 15.1 points, 5.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.

For the 2012/2013 season, Wise received a contract in the Italian Serie A with JuveCaserta Basket . However, the contract was already dissolved after a few weeks and Wise moved to Poland and received a contract with first division club KS Rosasport Radom . For the 2013/2014 season, Wise moved to Turkey and joined second division Akhisar Belediye there.
