Jared Ahern Jordan (born October 14, 1984 in Hartford , Connecticut ) is an American basketball player .

career

Jordan began his career as a basketball player at the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford from 2003 he was part of the team at Marist College in Poughkeepsie . There he played until 2007. In the same year he was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2007 NBA Draft . In September 2007 he moved to the New York Knicks . Two months later he signed a contract with the Lithuanian club BC Lietuvos Rytas in Vilnius . In the 2008 NBA Summer League , Jordan ran for the Phoenix Suns , then moved to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers . Jordan played for the Golden State Warriors in the 2009 NBA Summer League.

In the 2009/2010 season, Jordan took over the playmaker position at Telekom Baskets Bonn in the German basketball league . His contract was not extended for the 2010/2011 season, however, he then moved to Greece to Kolossos Rhodes . After the 2010/2011 season, Jordan returned to Germany and until 2013 signed again with his former club, the Telekom Baskets Bonn. In the summer of 2013, Jordan extended his contract in Bonn until 2015.

On February 27, 2014, Jared Jordan switched to Brose Baskets from Bamberg during the current season , after his current contract with Bonn was terminated and a transfer fee was paid . Jordan did not receive a new contract in Bamberg for the 2014/2015 season. Jordan then moved to Spain for the first time and joined first division side Gipuzkoa Basket Club . After a season in Spain he moved back to Germany, where he arrived at the Tigers Tübingen on November 13, 2015 . He initially signed a contract with the Tigers, which was only valid for the first half of the season. Shortly before Christmas 2015, this was extended to mid-2017.

On February 25, 2017, Jordan took the top spot in the Bundesliga best list in the basket templates category. With his 1,458th assist , Jordan overtook the previous record holder Dru Joyce , who had 1,457 assists. He played in Tübingen until the end of the 2017/18 season. In his senior year he missed relegation with the team. Then Jordan remained without a club until January 2019, when Bundesliga club Gießen 46ers signed him  . By the end of the 2018/19 season he played 19 Bundesliga games for Mittelhessen and achieved averages of 7 points and 7.8 basket assists per match.

During the summer break of 2019, he moved to the Romanian club BC CSU Sibiu .
