Nico Jacomet (born November 11, 1990 in Kilchberg ) is a Swiss actor and director .

Life

Nico Jacomet was born on November 11, 1990 in Kilchberg , Canton Zurich. The theater and acting are said to have been his greatest passion since his youngest years, so that he was often on stage from an early age. During an acting course at the StageArt drama and musical school , he got to know the director and actor Peter Niklaus Steiner . In the following years Jacomet was able to participate in his own and open-air productions of the Turbine Theater such as "The Baker's Wife" or "Romeo and Juliet".

In 2007 Jacomet founded the NI&CO theater, which has since brought out a new theater production every year. For this he writes and dramatizes texts from the start, directs and is also involved as an actor.

From 2012 to 2015 Nico Jacomet graduated from the StageArt drama and musical school in Adliswil under the direction of Patrick Biagioli . His lecturers included Christian J. Käser, Franca Basoli, Oliver Kühn, Colette Studer and Peter Niklaus Steiner. With his final thesis, the in-house production of the play "The First Name", he obtained his acting diploma in June 2015. In addition, he took singing lessons from the musical actress Claudia Kübler.

Since 2014 he has already been part of the Basel pre-Carnival event "Glaibasler Charivari" four times under the direction of tattoo producer Eric Juilliard and director Colette Studer. In December 2014 they produced the Christmas Tattoo in Basel's St. Jakob-Park , in which Jacomet was an actor.

In 2016 Jacomet staged the play "Yvonne the Burgundy Princess" at the Aemtler stage. In 2018 he was Erich Vock's assistant director in the production of “ 8 Women ” in the Bernhard Theater . At the Turbine Theater he was last seen in the comedy "Ingeborg" by Kurt Goetz in the role of "Peter Peter". He also assisted the two directors Peter Niklaus Steiner and René Schnoz there . Since October 2019 Nico Jacomet has appeared in the new production of the “Small Niederdorf Opera” in the Bernhard Theater and in “Pippi Longstocking” in the Theater am Hechtplatz , directed by Erich Vock, whose assistant he took over on both productions. He also works repeatedly as an actor and speaker for advertising productions.

Next, Nico Jacomet will be on stage for the Turbine Theater in "Liebeslust und Schabernack - Ante von Giovanni Boccaccio" directed by Peter Niklaus Steiner.
