Nico-Stéphàno Pellatz (born July 8, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German football goalkeeper .

Career

Pellatz began his football career at SV Blau Weiss Berlin . First he played in midfield until his then youth coach tested him in goal and recognized his talent. Via Tasmania Gropiusstadt , he moved to Hertha BSC in 2002 , with whom he won the DFB Junior Cup in 2004 with the U-19s and the championship title in the Junior Bundesliga North / Northeast a year later. In the 2006/2007 season he became the third goalkeeper in the Hertha professional squad.

In the summer of 2007 he moved to Werder Bremen on a free transfer and signed a contract until 2009. There he was the third goalkeeper of the professional team and also the regular goalkeeper of the second team. In the 3rd division he made his professional debut on July 26, 2008 against SpVgg Unterhaching . He made his competitive debut for the first team from Werder Bremen on March 4, 2009 in a 5-2 win in the DFB Cup game against VfL Wolfsburg . After regular goalkeeper Tim Wiese and substitute keeper Christian Vander were injured, Pellatz moved into the starting line-up.

In the summer of 2009, after his contract had not been renewed, he moved to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus . However, there he only played one season. After a short absence from a club, he signed a contract with ADO Den Haag in September 2010 . In January 2011 he was loaned to Excelsior Rotterdam , for which he played until the end of the season. In the summer of 2011, he signed a contract with Sparta Rotterdam , which he extended early in November 2011 to June 30, 2015.

For the 2013/14 season Pellatz moved to Dynamo Dresden on a free transfer . There he did not play a competitive game for the first team until the winter break. In January 2014, the player and club agreed to terminate the contract, after which he moved to FC Viktoria Köln . After the missed promotion to the 3rd division, Viktoria Köln and Nico Pellatz split. VfL Wolfsburg later announced the commitment of Nico Pellatz for its U-23 team in the Regionalliga Nord . Pellatz signed with the wolves until summer 2018.
