Nicolás Schenone , full name Nicolás Andrés Schenone Paz de Olivera , (born April 24, 1986 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Depending on the sources, the 1.80 or 1.82 meters tall midfielder Schenone has both Uruguayan and Spanish citizenship. He made his debut in the Segunda División in 2005 at the Uruguayan club Miramar Misiones and played for the club in the Primera División from Apertura 2005 and belonged to the club until the Apertura 2008. During this period he made 41 top division appearances for the Montevideans and scored four goals. In the Clausura 2009 he was under contract with Cerro Largo FC and was used 13 times in the Primera División. In doing so, he scored a hit.

This was followed in 2009 by a station at the Greek club PAS Giannina . There he played only one league game (no goal) in the 2009/10 season. In October 2010 he first returned to Uruguay on loan and was in the ranks of the Montevideo-based club Sud América until mid-January 2011 , for which he played six first division games (no goal). After a short return to PAS Giannina, he has another engagement in Greece. The employer was now Anagennisis Karditsa . At this club, its usage statistics show twelve league games in the 2010/11 season (no goal). This was followed by a loan to Cerro Largo FC, for whom he played eleven games in the 2011/12 season from August to December 2011. In January 2012 he moved to the Colombian club América de Cali . It was a one-year loan deal with an option to buy. In 2012 he played 39 games in the local Primera B and scored two goals. In February 2013 he moved on to Uruguay to join Liverpool Montevideo . With the Montevideans he signed a contract until the end of the season. This was followed by seven top division games (no goal) in the 2012/13 season.

In September 2013 he moved to Deportivo Alavés in Spain and signed up for a year there. But he was only set up once in the Liga Adelante (no goal). In January 2014, he rejoined Cerro Largo FC. There he played in eight league games (no goal) by the end of the Clausura 2014. From August 2014 he continued his career in Argentina at Club Atlético Talleres and was used 16 times in the league with the Argentines. He hit the opposing goal once. He has also played two cup games (no goal) in the Copa Argentina since his move . In mid-April 2016 he returned to Miramar Misiones. For the club from Montevideo he played in two second division games (no goal). In mid-September 2016, he joined the second division Canadian Soccer Club . There he completed eleven league games (no goal). At the beginning of January 2017, the Club Atlético Cerro signed him .
