Nicola Ciotti

Nicola Ciotti (born October 5, 1976 in Rimini ) is an Italian high jumper .

At the World Athletics Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he was eliminated in qualification. At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 he was fifth, at the European Athletics Championships in 2006 in Gothenburg sixth, and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he did not get beyond the qualification. His best performance is 2.31 m, achieved in 2001 on January 21 in Hustopeče and on February 11 in Novi Sad both indoors. Outdoors he reached 2.30 m in 2003 (July 20th in Viersen ), 2004 (June 8th in Naples ) and 2005 (June 17th in Florence ).

Nicola Ciotti is 1.88 m tall and weighs 78 kg. He grew up in Riccione and competes for the Carabinieri sports team in Bologna . His twin brother Giulio Ciotti is also successful as a high jumper.
