Nicola Laudadio

Nicola Laudadio SJ (born April 14, 1891 in Noicattaro , Province of Bari , Italy , † April 1, 1969 ) was Bishop of Galle .

Life

Nicola Laudadio joined the Congregation of the Jesuits in and received on 26 July 1921, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 28, 1934, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the bishop of Galle. The Archbishop of Colombo, Pierre-Guillaume Marque OMI , ordained him episcopal on September 30th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Trincomalee , Gaston Robichez SJ, and the Bishop of Kandy , Bede Beckmeyer OSB .

On May 26, 1964, Pope Paul VI. the resignation put forward by Nicola Laudadio for reasons of age and appointed him titular bishop of Ala Miliaria .
