Since 2003, Worm has been promoting the Logi method as a dietary recommendation that is supposed to prevent obesity , insulin resistance and the metabolic syndrome . The glycemic index and the glycemic load of the food play an important role. For several years now he has publicly distanced himself from his original position that it was an extension of the Stone Age diet, which he made known in the German-speaking world through his book Syndrom X. The logic of LOGI is based on current studies from epidemiology and metabolism research.

Among other things, Worm has become known in the professional world for his critical position in the cholesterol discussion and for some of the DGE's positions , and emphasizes the importance of an evidence-based approach to nutritional issues. He was also known as a critic of various diet and nutrition recommendations.
