Nicolás Kicker (born August 16, 1992 in Merlo ) is an Argentine tennis player .

Career

Nicolás Kicker mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour , on which he has won eight singles titles and five more doubles, as well as the ATP Challenger Tour , on which he has won three singles titles and one doubles. In 2018 he made his debut for the Argentine Davis Cup team .

Match fixing and suspension

At the Challenger tournament in Barranquilla, Colombia in September 2015, kicker is said to have deliberately lost a game, according to the anti-corruption unit Tennis Integrity Unit . Therefore, he was no longer eligible to play from May 2018 until a decision about his punishment was made. In June 2018 he was banned for six years. The exception to this is the Davis Cup, for which he played for the first time in 2018.
