Nicolas Langelier
Nicolas Langelier (born February 17, 1973 in Montréal , Québec , Canada ) is a Canadian journalist , author and editor .
Life
Langelier grew up in the east of Montréal. he has a college degree in graphic design . He then attended the Faculty of Communication Studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal , where he received his Baccalauréat in television in 2001 .
As a journalist, Lengelier worked for various French-language, Canadian magazines as well as the Montréal daily La Presse . He was also on the first program of the state radio station CBC-Radio-Canada . At the same time he was deputy editor of the cultural magazine ICI-Montréal , which appeared weekly. On television, he was responsible for the content of two 13-episode series entitled Bien ou mal , which were broadcast by Canadian broadcaster TV5 in 2006 and 2007.
Langelier has been the founder and editor-in-chief of Nouveau Projet magazine since 2012 . From 2007 to 2011 he was President of the Association des journalistes indépendents du Québec . In this capacity, he succeeded, among other things, in an agreement on a model collective agreement for the individual newspapers of the Gesca newspaper group of the Power Corporation of Canada conglomerate .
