Nicolaus Wilckens (Councilor)

Nicolaus Wilckens (born May 31, 1649 in Hamburg ; † March 29, 1725 there ) was a Hamburg councilor .

Live and act

Wilckens was made a colonel citizen in the parish of Sankt Nikolai on January 7, 1705 . On September 16, 1705 he was elected councilor. In 1712 he became a judge at the Hamburg Lower Court . On November 29, 1719, as colonel lord , he became chief of the Hamburg vigilante guard in the parish of Sankt Nikolai and in the same year he was also landlord of the lordship of Bill and Ochsenwärder . In 1723 Wilckens became landlord for the Hamburger Berg . He died in 1725 at the age of 75.

family

Wilckens was a son of the Hamburg businessman Claus Wilckens. The archivist of the same name Nicolaus Wilckens (1676–1724) was his nephew.

The lawyer and councilor Arnold Wilckens (1691-1730) was a son from Wilcken's second marriage to Elisabeth Rulant.
