Nicolay Ahlmann and Hans Andersen Krüger

Nicolay Ahlmann , also Nicolai-Peter Ahlmann , (born November 17, 1809 in Sonderburg ; † February 12, 1890 in Copenhagen ) was a farmer and member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Ahlmann enjoyed an ordinary school education and in 1857 bought the Werthemine farm on Alsen. Together with Hans Andersen Krüger, he was one of the spokesmen for the Danish minority and was elected to the Prussian House of Representatives from 1867 to 1874 . Since he and Krüger refused to take the Prussian oath of office, there were several by-elections in which the two were re-elected.

In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein 2 ( Aabenraa , Flensburg ). In the 1870s he withdrew from politics and moved to Copenhagen in 1875.
