Nicole Fetting (born November 27, 1980 in Halle (Saale) ) is a former German volleyball player and today's Secretary General of the DVV .
Career as a volleyball player
Fetting grew up on Rügen and learned to play volleyball at ESV Bergen and later at Schweriner SC . She then played in the Bundesliga, first in Hamburg for TV Fischbek , later for TV Creglingen and the Volley Cats Berlin . For the German national team , she played twelve international matches between 2001 and 2004. With the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg she was German champion in 2008 and cup winner in 2009 . Then Nicole Fetting moved to 1. VC Wiesbaden , where she was German runner-up in 2010. After her leave of absence as a player, she ended her career in the Bundesliga in May 2011 and switched to the second team of 1. VC Wiesbaden, with whom she was promoted to the third division south in 2012 .

Fetting is a wholesale and foreign trade clerk. Since May 2011 she worked in the office of 1. VC Wiesbaden , initially as a Bundesliga coordinator. From 2012 to 2015 Nicole Fetting worked as sports director and team manager for VC Wiesbaden. From 2015 to 2018 she was managing director of VC Wiesbaden Spielbetriebs GmbH. Nicole Fetting has been the honorary Vice President of the Volleyball Bundesliga and spokesperson for the 1st Women's Bundesliga since 2014. She has been DVV General Secretary since 2018.
