The Endurance Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
In 1899, the Coventry- based company began producing two models of passenger cars that were similar to Benz & Cie. resembled. A single-cylinder engine with either 4.5 HP or 6 HP power drove the rear axle via belts. They reached nowhere near the quality of the originals and named Endurance, German were endurance , not just.
The vehicles were not a sales success and production was discontinued in 1901.
