The company from Gateshead was Importer for steam car of Stanley . In 1904 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Tyne . Production ended in the same year.

There were two models with gasoline engines on offer from Aster . In the smaller model, a single-cylinder engine with 6.5 hp powered the rear axle by means of two chains. The larger model had a two-cylinder engine with 12 hp and cardan drive .
