Dickinson Toledo Engineering Works

The BE Dickinson Toledo Engineering Works was a British car manufacturer Aston Brook ( Birmingham ). From 1903 to 1905 a three-wheeled light vehicle was manufactured there and sold under the brand name Dickinson Morette .

There was a single seater and a sociable with two seats. Two wheels were attached to the rear, the single front wheel was controlled with a steering column and driven by the engine mounted diagonally behind it via a friction wheel and a chain. The engine was connected to the drive by lowering the steering column.

The single-seater had a single-cylinder engine with 1½ hp, the Sociable a two-cylinder engine with 2½ hp or 4 hp. The engines could be started from the driver's seat with a starter pull that was wound on the flywheel. All three wheels had the same diameter and were interchangeable. The frame was made of steel tubes and had a wooden floor. The Morette had a wheelbase of 1676 mm and was 1143 mm wide.
