Adams & Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Tunbridge Wells company began manufacturing automobiles in 1903. The brand name was Adams . Production ended in 1906. The employees James, Talbot and Davison later also manufactured automobiles in their company James, Talbot & Davison .

Initially, Avant-Trains were on offer. These were drive units with which non-motorized vehicles were motorized. These units were mounted on the front of the vehicle. A gasoline engine provided the drive. In 1905, a two-seater small car was presented at an exhibition and advertised as One of the Best . The engine developed 9 hp .
