Mobile Motor & Engineering was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Mobile Motor & Engineering Co Limited of Birmingham began in 1903 with the production of automobiles. In 1907, Calthorpe took over the company.

The first Model 6 HP appeared in 1903 and was manufactured until 1906. There are single cylinder - built-in motors of Aster and De Dion-Bouton used, the 636 and 700 cc engine capacity had. In 1903 there was also the 8 HP model with a single-cylinder engine from De Dion-Bouton with a displacement of 942 cc. In 1906 the two-cylinder models 10 HP with an Aster engine with 1272 cc displacement, 12 HP with 1703 displacement and 14 HP with 1984 cc displacement were presented. The last model was again a 10 HP with a two-cylinder engine with 1459 cm³ displacement, which was offered between 1906 and 1907.

A vehicle of this brand was on display in 2005 at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum in Cultra near Belfast .
