Calcott was a British manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles .

Company history

The company Calcott Brothers Limited of Coventry , which established motorcycles for several years, began in 1913 with the production of automobiles. Singer took over the company in 1926.

vehicles

All vehicles had four-cylinder engines . The first 10 HP model was produced until 1919 and had an engine with 1460 cm³ displacement . Between 1920 and 1924 there was the 11.9 HP with 1645 cm³ displacement. The 10.5 HP was available from 1922 to 1925 with a displacement of 1460 cm³. The 13.9 HP model with 2121 cm³ displacement was only produced in 1923. Between 1925 and 1926 the three models 10/15 HP with 1460 cm³ displacement, 12/24 HP with 1954 cm³ displacement and 16/50 HP with 2565 cm³ displacement were offered.

A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu .
